Effective 2026-10-20
These terms are written to be read, not to be filed. They cover what you can do with this service, what we promise, and what we can't guarantee.
AI Learn World is a free personal learning tracker built by Michael Chen, an individual. You use it to organize what you want to learn and to keep track of your progress and notes.
Using the service means you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
You can use it if you're 13 or older. Plenty of people start teaching themselves online in their teens — this tool was built for exactly that.
We don't verify anyone's age. If we learn that someone under 13 has signed up, we delete the account. If you're under 18, the privacy policy has a section written specifically for you.
Sign-in goes through Google, and this service has no passwords. Keeping your Google account secure is what keeps this account secure.
Please use one account per person, and don't share it.
The notes you write, the board you build, the materials you add, the projects you record — you keep all rights to them. We don't take ownership and we don't use them for anything else.
You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: storing it, backing it up, and displaying it on your screen. You can download all of it or delete it at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things.
This is a free service maintained by one person, so let's be direct about it: one day it may shut down.
If that day comes, we promise to give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and to keep the export feature working throughout that period so you can take your data with you, in full.
We may also add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll explain the significant ones in advance.
The service is provided free and as is. We'll do our best to keep it available and your data intact, but we can't guarantee it won't go down, won't have bugs, or won't lose data.
If your learning record matters to you, export it from Settings periodically and keep your own copy. That's the most honest advice we can give.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, this doesn't affect the consumer and data protection rights you have under local law.
When we change them, we update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll tell you the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the service means accepting the updated terms.
